Simple single coil pickup; I measured 5.75K DC resistance on a sample. Looks like bar magnets 'under the hood'. This pickup would be useful for fixing up a variety of El Cheapo hollow and solid body guitars. I measured 3.530" by 1.488", .564" tall, screw mounting centers approx. 3.250", E to E 1.997". Single conductor lead measures around 12" long. Brass bottom plate measures 3.065" X 1.045" and extends just a bit below the cover; you'll have to rout the body of your instrument to fit. Sticker on the back says "NECK PICKUPS" but you could use this in the bridge as well. Brand New. Genuine Gretsch 0069709000. UPC 717669352073.
