Fender has apparently changed the specifications on their arms and bushings recently. The big problem is that the new bushing entry hole will not accept whammy bars made as recently as last year! The only solution is to offer folks a new bushing along with a new tremolo bar as a mating set that has been fitted and signed by Steve. We are not currently offering the bushing alone because there's a damn good chance it won't fit your old bar. The sleeve (A.K.A. "bushing" or "arm receptacle") is the gizmo that bolts to the bottom of the whammy assembly and sticks up through the top of the plate to accept the vibrato bar. The bushing USA Vintage Series and original old Jazzmasters and Jaguars exactly. This bushing was designed in the '50s to mate with the 'pop-in' Fender USA Vintage Jazzmaster Jaguar Tremolo Arm Bar.
