Chrome plated steel bridge plate with diecast sustain bar attached. Originally released as an upgrade to American Standard Series basses in 2008. One very cool feature of this bridge is that you have the option of loading the strings from the back lip of the bridge plate or from the back of the bass body through four holes in the base of the bridge plate. Some folks are using this bridge to upgrade their reissue '51 Precision Bass; the mounting holes and string ferrule holes line up just fine. Mounts to the body with three screws Solid stainless steel saddles are partially threaded to anchor strings securely. Saddles are individually height adjustable with two black allen screws. There are slots (one for each saddle...) milled into the bridge plate to keep the height screws from wandering. The saddle threads also anchor the strings nicely against sideways movement. Used on American Standard Bass (US) models manufactured from 2007-Present. Will not retrofit directly to a traditional 5-screw mount bridge. Three mounting screws included.
