This 9.5" radius bridge fits most of the Jazzmasters and Jaguars Fender has made over the past 40 some years. If you've got the original 7.5" radius fingerboard on your offset this new bridge will still work but you may have to fiddle around with the global action to get it where it needs to be. If your luthier has already flattened the board a bit when doing a refret you're probably good to go. I measured 2.077" E to E string spacing. Yes, this is indeed a bit narrower by design than other bridges of this style. Additional measurements? I measured 2.866" (72.80mm) post center to center. It should be noted that ALL of the 'generic' (some are actually sold to Fender for import models...) and USA Pro and USA VIntage bridges we sell have almost identical post spacing. Body thimbles for this bridge require a bore hole slightly less than .354". Some players think the Mustang style saddles on this new bridge work better with a vibrato than the old threaded saddles. Keep in mind the fact that Leo designed this vibrato and bridge system for jazzy gentle folk, not dive-bombing hooligans. The saddles on the American Pro bridge are not individually height adjustable so be hip to that when you buy this one.  Fender has long used chrome bridges with nickel saddles as on Strats from '54 to the present.
Be warned that Fender has had a few quality control issues with this bridge, mainly with the small black pivot screws. I personally check each bridge we ship to ensure that all of the screws turn smoothly. I then sign and date the packaging. We also include a FREE Allen wrench to adjust the pivot screws.
